PhD students and supervisors are warmly invited to join Dr Dely Elliot for a talk on the “hidden curriculum” of doctoral study. We will explore the unofficial yet valuable channels of learning that take place beyond formal teaching, for example through informal interactions with peers, supervisors, staff, and even individuals outside academia. Discover how these unconventional contexts can enrich your doctoral journey and contribute to both personal and professional development.

Dr Dely Elliot is a Chartered Psychologist and Senior Lecturer in the University of Glasgow's School of Education. Her research focuses on the experiences, professional development, and well-being of international doctoral students.
