Sustainable Finance Symposium
This event is organised by the Department of Finance and the Centre for Responsible Banking and Finance (CRBF) in collaboration with Scotland Beyond Net Zero and with support from the St Andrews Centre for Critical Sustainabilities (StACCS).
The symposium brings together leading academics and practitioners to explore how resilient our financial system is to climate risks and whether the financial sector can actively support, or hinder, the transition to a sustainable economy.
There will be a presentation from Ralph De Haas, Director of Research at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, alongside research presentations from King's College London, the University of St Gallen, and WU Vienna, covering topics including biodiversity risk, natural disasters and credit, and socially responsible investing. The day closes with a policy panel on ‘Making sustainable finance work in practice, a Scottish perspective'.
Please note this event is now at full capacity so please do not attend unless you have a confirmed place.
