Sunday Worship Founders & Benefactors
To commemorate the Founders and Benefactors of the University, the Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, Rt Revd Rosie Frew, will make a two-day visit to St Andrews as part of her ambassadorial role. She will deliver a sermon at the Founders and Benefactors Service, accompanied by a performance from St Salvator's Chapel Choir.
All are welcome to follow the Academic Procession to the PH for short wreath laying ceremonies to commemorate both the martyrdom of Patrick Hamilton, and then onto St Mary's Quad and the statue of Bishop Wardlaw. Please note that there will be no refreshments or Holy Communion following this special service.
This service will take place in person and will also be available to watch on the livestreamed services section on our Worship webpage.
Chapel donations: you are welcome to donate either in chapel with cash or using the contactless machine, or online through our Worship webpage. Two-thirds of chapel offerings from the Sunday service are given to charity and one-third goes to the work of the Chaplaincy.
The sermon title for this service will be published on our Preachers and Sermons webpage nearer the time, where you can also find information about upcoming services.
