Sunday Worship Founders and Benefactors
To commemorate the Founders and Benefactors of the University, the Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, Rt Revd Dr Shaw Paterson, will make a two-day visit to St Andrews as part of her ambassadorial role. She will deliver a sermon at the Founders and Benefactors Service, accompanied by a performance from St Salvator's Chapel Choir.
All are welcome to follow the Academic Procession to St Mary's Quad, where a wreath will be laid at the statue of Bishop Wardlaw as part of a brief ceremony. Please note that there will be no refreshments or Holy Communion following the service today.
This service will take place in person and will be available to watch via livestream. See the ‘Livestreamed services' section on our Worship web page.
Chapel donations
You are welcome to donate either in chapel with cash or using the contactless machine, or online via our Worship web page.
Two-thirds of chapel offerings from the Sunday service are given to charity and one-third goes to the work of the Chaplaincy.
The sermon title for this service will be published on our Worship, Preachers and Sermons web page nearer the time, where you can also obtain information about upcoming services.
