St Andrews Baroque Ensemble £5, £4 for concessions and Music Centre members, £1 for students

The St Andrews Baroque Ensemble explores music associated with the Dresden royal court in the first half of the eighteenth century, when the court was at its artistic zenith and fostered an orchestra of international stature. Chief in the programme will be music by the Czech composer and violone player Jan Dismas Zelenka, who worked at the Dresden court for most of his life. His rich and sophisticated style was admired in his day by contemporaries such as Bach and Telemann.

Admission: £5, or £4 for concessions and Music Centre members, or £1 for students.

Presented by the St Andrews Baroque Ensemble.
