Service of Thanksgiving for Duncan Sim

All are welcome to a Service of Thanksgiving for Duncan Sim, first-year student of Chemistry who died earlier this year. Duncan was missing for nearly three months before his body was discovered. Huge numbers of students, friends from home and members of the public supported the police in the search. His funeral took place on 5 July near his home in Duns. This Service of Thanksgiving will give students, staff and others the opportunity to come together to remember Duncan, and give thanks for his life. All are welcome, regardless of faith or philosophy of life.

There will be a retiring collection for the charity Missing Persons. There is no particular dress code. Further details are available from the Chaplaincy at [email protected] or on (01334 46) 2866.

Presented by: Revd Dr Donald MacEwan.
