Scribes and scrolls Easter holiday workshops For children aged 7+
Get creative with hands-on art workshops, inspired by the special exhibition at the Wardlaw Museum, where children can explore the stories and lives of ordinary people during the wars of Mary, Queen of Scots' early childhood through creative play.
With sessions for under 7s and over 7s, it's the perfect way for families to get creative and learn together.
A responsible adult must stay in the Learning Loft with the children for the duration of the event.
Booking is essential. Accompanying adults do not require a ticket, only children participating in the activity.
This event forms part of War, destruction and reform: the early years of Mary, Queen of Scots, a public programme accompanying the exhibition on view at the Wardlaw Museum from Saturday 7 March to Sunday 20 September 2026.
A varied programme of events, including family events, accompanies the exhibition.
