Research seminar with Global Fellow Professor June Cotte Marketing research: recent work plus Q&A
The University of St Andrews Business School is delighted to host Professor June Cotte during September and October 2024, as part of the University's Global Fellowship Scheme.
In this research seminar, Professor Cotte will present a paper on her recent work, titled, ‘Crowdfunding success for female versus male entrepreneurs depends on whether a consumer versus investor decision frame is salient'.
A Q&A session will follow, and will be open to discussion of any area of her research, including, as described on her Ivey Business School profile noted below, ‘behavioural issues, including why and when people will pay more for ethically produced products, how people perceive time and how that influences their behaviour at work and at leisure, family influence on behaviour, and consumption issues in gambling'.
June Cotte is a Professor of Marketing at the Ivey Business School. She has previously served as President of the Association for Consumer Research (ACR) and is currently co-editor of the Journal of Consumer Research. She is co-founder of the ‘Designing your career in the marketing academy' initiative for young female marketing scholars. June leads on Executive Education at Ivey Business School in Canada.
