Research in business education Business School staff development session

This session for University of St Andrews Business School Education Focused academic staff will be facilitated by Professor Paul Hibbert.

The interactive workshop focuses on how to develop research in the business education space, including accounting, economics, finance and management. It explores key considerations for research projects in this field:

* identifying research opportunities in your education practice as you develop new approaches, content and curriculum
* developing presentations and workshops to develop and challenge your insights, and the conferences that provide the best venues for this
* refining your work for publication in the main, internationally recognised, business-discipline oriented education journals — which covers a range of opportunities from publishing short pieces on teaching innovations through to advanced contributions to education theory.

The event is weighted towards early-stage education research developments, and Professor Hibbert will be available for informal discussion about more advanced projects after the session.
