Poetry masterclass with Inklight
Join Inklight, St Andrews' creative writing society, for a relaxed and creative poetry workshop at the Wardlaw Museum.
Explore ways to write together and craft one-line poems that grow as they are passed around. Open a random page in a book to spark a poem from unexpected inspiration. This session is all about collaboration, creativity and finding poetry in surprising places.
No experience needed, just bring your imagination and a willingness to experiment with words.
The workshop is free, but booking is required.
This event forms part of War, destruction and reform: the early years of Mary, Queen of Scots, a public programme accompanying the exhibition on view at the Wardlaw Museum from Saturday 7 March to Sunday 20 September 2026.
A varied programme of events, including family events, accompanies the exhibition.
