InFrame Culture Catalyst Fund Drop-in
The universities of Glasgow, Edinburgh and St Andrews have been awarded £3m by Wellcome to create a new framework for research leadership — InFrame — recognising that a skilled collegial approach to leadership is critical for the development of supportive and equitable cultures, and foundational to the aspirations set out in our research culture action plans.
Our collaboration aims to address the paucity of systematic knowledge on how collegiality can be fostered, recognised and rewarded. It also aims to expand the definition of who can be viewed as a research leader to a wider set of role types, and individuals in the research ecosystem.
There is £1m project funding available to colleagues across the partner institutions.
Our drop-in sessions aim to offer 1-2-1 in-person support to individuals or groups who have an idea for the Research Culture Catalyst Fund that they want to further discuss with the InFrame team ahead of submitting an application for funding.
This event is open to anyone, with an idea at any stage, and any level of experience in funding applications. The InFrame team are here to ensure you are fully supported throughout the application process. Allow the team to support you with questions such as is my idea feasible, what support is provided with my application, and what can be funded.
To ensure you will be able to be seen, we recommend booking a place at the event, however, if you are unsure what time you will be able to visit, please just drop in, and we will do our best to accommodate you. Refreshments will be available for those attending the event.
If you need some more time and space to develop your idea further we are hosting an Ideation workshop on Thursday 21 November in Edinburgh. This event is for anyone interested in applying for the fund who wants help developing an idea. Book your place on Ticket Tailor.
