Hands Off: LGBTQ+ Cultural Heritage and Ethical Stewardship -- Day One Ajamu X and Matthew Arthur Williams in conversation - Free

Who should be responsible for safeguarding queer and trans collections for posterity, and how should this be done?

‘Hands Off' is a two-day conference organised as part of the ‘Perverse Collections: Building Europe's Queer and Trans Archives' project run by Professor Glyn Davis in the Department of Film Studies at St Andrews.

The conference opens with a conversation at Dundee Contemporary Arts between the artists and activists Ajamu X and Matthew Arthur Williams, who will discuss the politics of Black and LGBTQ+ archives, as well as their own work as artists.

This event is open to all.
