Evidence Based Early Diagnosis (EBED) Conference Exploring new diagnostics -- big promise, big challenge

Are you an innovator, researcher, clinician, policy-maker, or regulator who is interested in early diagnosis? You might be a patient, a member of the public, or a shareholder in a company making exciting technology in this area.

If so, join the Mackenzie Institute for Early Diagnosis to explore what success looks like for the introduction of new diagnostic tests in this fast-developing field. This event will focus on new, early diagnostic technologies with the intention of creating a normative, evidence driven pathway along which new diagnostic technologies should travel.

Panel members and speakers will discuss theoretical considerations, economic issues, policy and regulation, and share clinical and patient perspectives on the benefits and harms of early diagnosis.

EBED will provide a platform where all stakeholders can openly discuss how to get useful technology to patients and protect people from poorly performing or clumsily introduced tests. Join us for stimulating debate and expert insight on this important topic.
