Divine Tie-Dye Art Soc Workshop

The student art society, known as Art Soc, will be running a creative workshop inspired by the ‘Divine Sky' exhibition on display at the Wardlaw Museum.

This workshop will focus on tie-dyeing, drawing inspiration from the work of Sekai Machache.

Art Soc members will teach fellow students the basics of tie-dye, how it is done and why this technique is used.

This event is part of the programme accompanying Divine Sky by Sekai Machache, on display at the Wardlaw Museum from Monday 12 October 2026 to Sunday 9 May 2027. Across the exhibition period, the programme will explore many aspects of Machache's artistic practice, from her creative processes and use of materials to the themes and concepts that shape her work. The programme includes workshops, activity days, panel discussions and special highlight events, offering opportunities to explore, make, discuss and experience the ideas within Divine Sky.
