PhD students from the School of Maths and Statistics talk about their research:

Wei Jing – Improving the performance of the Dirichlet process mixture model (DPMM) and future challenges
Fanny Empacher – Parameter inference for state-space models using sequential Monte Carlo methods
Nseobong Peter Uto – Semi-Latin rectangles: What they are, and some constructions for good designs
