Business School research development with Professor Kathy Lund Dean Research collaboration and co-authorship
This session continues the series of research and pedagogical workshops with Professor Kathy Lund Dean, who is Honorary Professor with the Knowledge and Practice research group (K&P) in the Department of Management. The topic will be, ‘Research collaboration and co-authorship: building productive and sustaining research collaborations'.
Research practices and productivity are a hallmark of academic life. However, many of our colleagues can experience the research process as isolating, episodic, and a bit of a grind.
In contrast, research collaborations and building research networks can be among the most fruitful and rewarding aspects of the research enterprise. This seminar will be an opportunity to hear about tried and true collaboration-building practices and things to consider about your needs as a researcher when beginning to build a network.
Further details about the event have been circulated within the Business School. Tea break and lunch will be provided. Please respond to the invitation noting any dietary requirements.
