Business School pedagogy development session Fostering reciprocal learning and discernment with peer coaching
This session continues the series of research and pedagogical workshops with Professor Kathy Lund Dean, Honorary Professor in the Department of Management.
Peer coaching, or ‘peer consulting', processes can be powerful discernment tools, helping participants to gain clarity, focus and unique options for resolving complex issues or problems.
The session will include:
* description of a structured peer-led coaching and discernment process by which participants can find agency and fresh thinking about important issues they face
* practicing the process together as a non-advisory, peer-led conversation that encourages deep reflection about complicated issues that need to be addressed
* discussion of contexts and situations where this type of process is especially useful.
Further details about the seminar have been circulated within the School. Lunch will be provided from noon to 12.30pm so please note any dietary requirements when responding to the invitation.
