Art Soc Workshop Illuminated Manuscript Techniques

Join Artsoc at the Wardlaw Museum as they take inspiration form the ‘War, Destruction and Reformation — The Early years of Mary Queen of Scots' Exhibition to host a workshop teaching some Illuminated Manuscript Techniques! With Instruction from Artsoc participants will learn how to fill pages with illuminated letters, imitation gold leaf, decorated borders, and personal symbolism (e.g. mottoes, floral patterns, initials). .
The workshop runs 2-4 pm in the Learning Loft at the Wardlaw Museum. Free, but booking is required.
