Yale University Glee Club and St Salvator’s Chapel Choir: Sacred and Profane

Event Details

This unique and unmissable match-up of Yale University’s leading mixed-voice choir and the flagship vocal ensemble of the University of St Andrews is directed by Jeffery Douma and Claire Innes-Hopkins.

With a history extending back more than 150 years, Yale’s 80-piece Glee Club will perform music by American composers including Bernstein and Barber (whose much loved Agnus Dei will be sung jointly by the two choirs) as well as North American folk tunes. St Salvator’s Chapel Choir will also perform Lenten repertoire by Poulenc and Join Sanders.

The event will be in Holy Trinity Church, St Andrews.
