Write for rights in Gaza
Join Amnesty St Andrews for this event to demand an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
Opportunities to make your voice heard include:
- Signing petitions
- Writing letters to government officials
- Calling your MP in the UK, your representative in the USA, or your government representative in your home country (phones will be provided for international calls)
Please join Amnesty St Andrews for 15-30 minutes between 12 noon and 4pm to take one or all of these actions. People of all nationalities are welcome — everyone studying and residing in St Andrews is entitled to sign UK petitions and address UK government representatives.
Those from the USA are also encouraged to come along and make use of the Amnesty committee's long-distance call minutes to reach their representatives in the US Senate and House of Representatives.
It is essential that we do not decrease pressure on the world's most powerful governments to call for an immediate ceasefire and end to genocide in Gaza.
Amnesty will provide stickers and treats from Tesco to all those who sign a petition, write a letter, or make a call.
If you cannot make it, please take the time to review Amnesty St Andrews' Guide to Action for Gaza and sign petitions yourself.
