What's new in Microsoft Teams Cuppa Teams is a fortnightly drop-in to raise awareness of digital tools
Microsoft Teams is updated regularly, with small changes that can improve how staff work day-to-day. New features and interface updates are often introduced quietly which means useful improvements that make life easier can be missed. For example, like the new ability to control what the Enter key does—stopping us from sending our half-written thoughts in channels and chats!
In this session, we'll discuss recent updates in Microsoft, including updates to drafting messages, screen sharing, meeting controls and recordings. We'll also briefly cover usability improvements such as search in settings, autocorrect, emoji updates and ways to navigate chats and channels more quickly.
Join the meeting directly from the Cuppa Teams channel meeting link or contact Monica (mcc28) on Teams for a calendar invite.
Additionally, we'll have a session at Walter Bower House, in meeting room 5, on Wednesday at 11am. If you'd like a reminder, please reach out. If travelling from St Andrews, let us know in advance and we can arrange a visitor card.
