Walking tour: St Andrews' connections to transatlantic slavery

Join School of History colleagues for a walking tour exploring St Andrews' connections to transatlantic slavery. The walk has been created and will be led by PhD students in the School, under the auspices of the Institute for Transnational and Spatial History.

Spaces on the tour are limited so please email [email protected] to request a place on the tour. If the places fill up to capacity, the School will keep a waiting list. For this reason, if you are allocated a place and then find yourself unable to come along, please let the organisers know in advance so they can reallocate the place.

The tour lasts approximately one and a half hours and departs from St Katherine's Lodge on The Scores, ending at the Wardlaw Museum. As the tour is mostly outsid make sure to dress for the weather and wear footwear that you can walk in comfortably. There are occasional spots for sitting along the route but for the most part participants will be walking or standing. If you have any access or mobility concerns, please share these in the email and the organisers will do their best to accommodate these.
