Understanding colour with Jaclyn Stuart
Join us for an autumn arts workshop with local Fife artist Jaclyn Stuart and learn how to use a colour wheel to choose a colour palette and mix colours accordingly.
You'll also learn how to classify colours by three main properties: hue, chroma and value. We'll then experiment with painting landscapes in watercolour using analogous colours and complimentary colours.
There's no experience necessary, all materials are provided, and there is no charge, however, in order to follow Jaclyn's lesson plan, participants are kindly asked to stay for the full two-hour session.
There are places still available. Please email Ruth Ezra at [email protected] with Understanding Colour in the subject line to reserve yours.
This event takes place in the @79 Makerspace (Room 303) of 79 North Street, up two flights of stairs.
