Damin Spritzer, Associate Professor of Organ at the University of Oklahoma and a celebrated international performer and recording artist presents a programme of late Romantic and 20th century music from the UK and North America. Performing on the heroic 1923 Harrison & Harrison organ, one of the great civic organs of Northern Europe, Spritzer's programme includes Herbert Howells' dramatic Rhapsody No. 3, written during the Blitz and John Ireland's Elegiac Romance as well as music from America by Searle Wright, and English émigré Thomas Candlyn.
