Trans Day of Remembrance Vigil
Saturday 20 November is Trans Day of Remembrance. For the past few years, Saints LGBT+ has organised a vigil on this day when transgender people who have passed during the previous few years are honoured and remembered.
During this vigil there are speeches and performances. It would be ideal for this ceremony to take place indoors, in a non-religious building which is why we are turning to the University for booking a place.
This event usually has an attendance of around 30 to 40 but an increased amount is expected this year due to the pandemic making people realise a lot about their gender identity.
