Kally Lloyd-Jones

Kally Lloyd-Jones trained Central School of Ballet in London and has an MA in English literature and Film Studies from Glasgow University.

She has worked as a director and choreographer with companies including the Royal Swedish Ballet, The Royal Ballet School, The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Scottish Opera, The Citizens Theatre, West Yorkshire Playhouse, Bristol Old Vic, The Tron Theatre, The Traverse, The Lyceum, Welsh National Opera, Glyndebourne Opera, Royal Swedish Opera, Danish National Opera, Liceu Barcelona, National Theatre of Scotland.

As founder and Artistic Director of Company Chordelia, Kally has produced, created and directed over 13 full length dance theatre productions for the company and has been awarded a Herald Angel and a Sunday Herald Culture Award for Best Live Performance 2017 and several times been in the Guardian's Top 10 Dance shows of the year.

Janis Hart

Janis has created many site-specific installations and stage designs and specific installations and for theatre, dance and opera productions and worked as an art director for film. Freelance work has included companies and spaces all over Britain, and she has been a resident designer at Plymouth Theatre Royal, Worcester Swan Theatre and Derby Play- house, and Artist in Residence at South Hill Park Art Centre in Bracknell.

She enjoys interesting collaborations and spaces — often outdoors, which have included large- scale community performances in an abandoned hospital in Birmingham, the banks of the Water of Leith in Edinburgh and Methil Docks, the installation of a 17 meter diameter ‘Earth Stage' in Gorbals Rose Garden for the Citizens Theatre, many of London's urban and green spaces in collaboration with the London Bubble and installations for Aberdeen's Creative Learning festivals.

Janis is a regular collaborator with Company Chordelia and choreographer Kally Lloyd Jones in Glasgow, creating moving and accessible multi-genre dance performances which explore narrative and character driven work centred around deeply human theme.
