During the second half of the 19th century, the Parisian musician Julien Tollot published brass
arrangements of three of Joseph Haydn's string quartets: op. 74, no. 3 in G minor, ‘The Rider',
op. 76 no. 3 in C Major, ‘The Emperor' and op. 50, no. 5 in F major ‘The Dream'. Ensemble in
Residence The Wallace Collection presents an extraordinarily rare performance of these three
arrangements together with other works by Haydn featuring some of the Music Centre's
talented brass students.
