The 3rd Degree St Andrews students take on staff in the ultimate quiz

‘The 3rd Degree' is coming to St Andrews and you're invited to watch St Andrews students take on staff in the ultimate quiz.

Three brave St Andrews students will be taking on their professors in a battle of wits as they go head-to-head in the Younger Hall, where the quiz will be recorded for BBC Radio 4.

The rounds vary from general knowledge and a subject-specific face-off, to a ‘Highbrow versus Lowbrow' round, where students can challenge their professors on popular culture. The questions range from Barthes to Beyoncé and no two shows are the same.

The staff team confirmed are:

• Dr Ben Sachs-Cobbe (Philosophy)
• Dr Rosa Campbell (English)
• Dr Michael Young (Computer Science)

The event is free and open to staff and students, as well as the wider St Andrews community.

Doors open at 5.40pm ready for the recording to begin at 6pm in the Younger Hall – please be prompt.
