Andropause — often dubbed ‘male menopause' in the media — refers to the symptoms you might experience as your hormones change as you get older. Symptoms may include a lack of energy, a low sex drive or weight gain around your midsection as you reach midlife.

However, unlike female menopause, most health professionals consider the term ‘male menopause' medically misleading , as not all men will experience these changes.
