Teach-In on Romani Rights by Amnesty St Andrews and the Mutual Aid Clinic

Join Amnesty International St Andrews and the Mutual Aid Clinic for a Teach-In on Romani Rights at 5pm-6:30pm, Tuesday April 1st in the Arts Lecture Theatre (IR).

Hear speakers discuss Romani cultural identities around the world, their experiences, and the ways of fighting against systemic Romani discrimination. Speakers include Shamus McPhee and Roseanna McPhee, Sarah Edgcumbe, Dr. Tomasz Kamusella, Dr. Aleksander Marinov, and Dr. Paloma Gay y Blasco.

The teach-in will be followed by a mixer from 6:30-7:30 in the building foyer. Stay to meet our incredible speakers, enjoy our free food, and check out the Mutual Aid Clinic's poster display on their work with Scottish Travellers, exploring the effect of local policy on the community.
