What does it take to turn an idea into a business or social enterprise?

In these two half day sessions, you'll have the opportunity to learn about the steps that will move you closer to taking an idea to market. The nine steps to customer discovery will help you identify what problem your idea solves, who has that problem, what benefit your solution will be to them and whether or not it's worth pursuing.

Who is it for
Open to students, staff, alumni and the public
Participants should be interested in learning how to turn an idea into a venture. Having an idea to work on will give you opportunity to practice the tools you will learn, though you don't have to have an idea to attend.
Participants should be committed to attending both sessions in person, in the Entrepreneurship Centre, Walter Bower House, Guardbridge KY16 0US.
Wednesday 24 May and Thursday 25 May from 10:00 — 15:00 in person in the Entrepreneurship Centre, Walter Bower House, Guardbridge KY16 0US. Lunch will be provided, so please RSVP.

Tuesday 30 May or Monday 5 June optional one to one follow-up session which can be in person or online.

Important — travelling to the Entrepreneurship Centre:

The Entrepreneurship Centre is an 8 minute bus ride from St Andrews Bus Station on any of the 99 buses going to Leuchars Rail Station/Dundee. From Dundee, it's a 20 minute bus ride from the Dundee Bus Station. From Cupar, it's about a 14 minute bus ride on the X59 or X24 then a 7 minute walk to Walter Bower House.
