StAIGS Internal Speakers Series: Conviction

This term, the St Andrews Institute for Gender Studies (StAIGS) is introducing an internal speaker series based on the same structure as the launch event – short informal talks about common topics to promote interdisciplinary discussions and collaborations.

All four sessions this term are brown bag lunches and take place in Edgecliffe Room 104 from 1pm to 2pm. We will have some coffee, tea and biscuits available, but you're welcome to bring your lunch.

Each speaker will give about a seven-minute talk on how gender (broadly and intersectionally understood) fits into their research. Then we will have about 30 minutes for questions/answers and general discussion.

The first session will be on ‘Conviction' and will be presented by Caron Genrty (IR), Bridget Heal (History) and Christa McKirland (Divinity).
