St Andrews Symphony Orchestra £8, £5 (students), £1 (MusSoc Members), MusicCard holders free
After their successful concert in November, the Music Society's Symphony orchestra presents another evening of fantastic music from the symphonic repertoire. Following on from their performance of Tchaikovsky's 5th Symphony, the orchestra returns with his Symphony No.6 in B Minor. With the premiere performance taking place one week before his death, this is sometimes described as Tchaikovsky's “farewell to life” as it reaches all extremes of the emotional spectrum. This exciting concert is not one to be missed.
