St Andrews Prize for the Environment 2022 Final

Staff and students are welcome to attend the final of the 2022 St Andrews Prize for the Environment, where Avani, Health in Harmony and Misión Tiburón will compete for the prestigious US $100,000 prize.

Working in the Indian Himalayas, Brazil, Indonesia, Madagascar, and Costa Rica, these organisations are tackling issues of critical environmental and social importance, including reducing soil and water pollution, regenerating rainforests, and protecting and restoring blue carbon sinks.

During the event we will also hear from 2021 winner Tero Mustonen, Snowchange Cooperative, who will talk about how the Prize has enabled them to support the Indigenous Sřmi to protect and rewild their critically important reindeer forests.
