That's what they want. A story about a hurt puppy. A distressed princess story. Everybody loves that. But I'm not giving them that.

Silkworm is the story of two women living in a Glasgow tower block, seeking asylum from the UK Home Office on the basis of their sexual orientation, and waiting to hear the result of their case. How do they prove their claim? A witty, intimate and intense study of two vulnerable, strong women as they seek the words to navigate their way through a savage system.

To stay safe.

To stay here.

To stay together?
