Seminar and discussion with Professor Ben Doolittle, Yale University The Priest, the Philosopher, the Scientist and the New Age of Medicine

Ben Doolittle is a Professor of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the Yale School of Medicine and also Professor of Religion and Health at the Yale Divinity School. He serves as Program Director of the Combined Internal Medicine-Pediatrics Residency Program, Medical Director of the Faculty-Resident Continuity Clinic and Director of the Yale Program for Medicine, Spirituality and Religion, an interdisciplinary project which fosters dialogue and research. His practice focuses on addiction, Hepatitis C, HIV and primary care and his research interests explore the intersection of medicine and spirituality, wellness and burnout. He is the author of more than 280 articles and his most recent book is ‘Theology and Medicine in conversation: How the healing happens' (T&T Clark, 2026).
