Say no! Art, Activism and Feminist Refusal Free

Explore art as a powerful form of feminist protest with the new exhibition at the Wardlaw Museum, Say no! Art, Activism and Feminist Refusal.

The exhibition features a range of contemporary artists, including Franki Raffles, Alberta Whittle, Petra Bauer, Josie KO and more, working in tapestry, ceramic, sculpture, photography and film.

There will also be a Travelling Gallery exhibition Between Women: Franki Raffles, Sylvia Grace Borda, Sandra George, Carolyn Scott and Niu Weiyu, which runs from Monday 17 to Friday 21 February 2025, for an event bringing together artists, curators and researchers whose work relates and responds to photographers and themes in the exhibition.

At the Between Women Closing Event on Friday 21 February from 4pm to 7pm, there will be a chance to view Between Women at the Travelling Gallery, which will be parked in the East Sands Leisure Centre Car Park from 10am to 4pm.

A programme of events, including creative workshops, a book club, and a student late, will run from the end of January:
