Saints Talk: Professor Maria Azeredo de Dornelas Nuance in biodiversity trends

We are delighted to welcome you to the next instalment in our Saints Talk series from Professor Maria Azeredo de Dornelas Nuance in biodiversity trends.

When biodiversity makes the news, it is often about its loss. Yet, looking at how biodiversity has changed through time in the recent past reveals many different paths, with some places gaining and others losing species.

Professor Dornelas' talk will explore how biodiversity is changing across scales, places and types of organisms. From the corals at her long-term study site in the Great Barrier Reef, to birds, insects and trees across the planet, the talk will explain why there are reasons for hope as well as worry.
