Saints Talk: Professor Laura Moretti Adventures in three dimensions: How early modern publishers explored new ways of representing the world

Development is delighted to invite you to the next instalment in our Saints Talk series, from Professor Laura Moretti.

In her talk, Professor Moretti will explore how technological advancements and artistic ingenuity met on the surface of the page of books printed between the 15th and the 17th century.

Professor Moretti is the Head of the School of Art History at the University of St Andrews. Laura Moretti took her undergraduate degree in architecture and also holds a professional performance diploma in violoncello. She has a PhD in architectural history and has been working for several years on the relationship between architecture and music.

She has held prestigious postdoctoral and research positions (Department of History of Art, University of Cambridge, 2005 to 2007; Worcester College, University of Oxford, 2007 to 2010; Villa I Tatti, The Harvard University Center for Italian Renaissance Studies, 2010 and 2014 to 2015).
