Post-Brexit Realities Centre for Global Law and Governance (CGLG)

Brexit and the future of the EU-UK relationship has occupied academic, policy, and media discussions for over half a decade now. The UK-EU Brexit transition period ended on 31 December 2020, and new rules now apply to areas such as trade, travel, education, and security. Three months on, some uncertainties have been resolved, others remain. In this roundtable, experts from London, Brussels, and Scotland, with vast and complementary experience, take stock on where we are now and what the future of EU-UK cooperation could look like. The event is organised as a roundtable with plenty of time left for audience questions.

Panellists:
 Professor Anand Menon, King's College London and Director of the UK in a Changing Europe Initiative
 Catherine Stihler, CEO of Creative Commons and Senior Lay Member of the St Andrews University Court, Member of the European Parliament for Scotland (1999-2019)
 Dr Fabian Zuleeg, Chief Executive and Chief Economist at the European Policy Centre

The event will be chaired by Dr Mateja Peter with commentary from Professor Stephen Gethins, Member of Parliament for North East Fife (2015-2019).
