Join us for a special Rewrite the Future tour of Portmoak Moss for an inspiring journey into how local communities are reclaiming and restoring precious peatland habitats. Discover how grassroots action is driving ecological recovery, combating climate change, and reshaping our collective vision for a more sustainable, community-led future.
Portmoak Moss is located by the village of Scotlandwell. The meeting point for this tour is the small car park indicated on the map.

This event is part of Rewrite the Future, an exhibition exploring how today's choices can shape a fairer, more sustainable tomorrow. Through bold questions, alternative perspectives and inspiring ideas, Rewrite the Future invites you to imagine new possibilities for the world ahead.
The exhibition was created in collaboration with the St Andrews Centre for Critical Sustainabilities and is on display at the Wardlaw Museum from Saturday 31 May until Sunday 28 September 2025.
