Researching Atrocities Methodological and ethical dilemmas and approaches

Dr Kate Cronin-Furman (University College London) will discuss her research approach as well as preliminary findings from “Documentation and Denial”, her project exploring how state perpetrators of mass atrocities use denials alongside information access restriction to create a heightened burden of proof on the world stage for victims and their allies. The talk is likely to be of special interest to scholars relying on feminist and critical methodologies, including PhD students and other early career scholars.
