Public Humanities Masterclass with Professor Margaret Kelleher

Professor Margaret Kelleher, Chair of Anglo-Irish Literature and Drama at University College Dublin, will discuss recent developments in the theory and practice of public humanities, with specific reference to Irish literary case studies and her experience as academic lead for the creation of the Museum of Literature Ireland.

Her most recent book is the collection, Technology in Irish Literature and Culture, co-edited with James O'Sullivan and published by Cambridge University Press (2022). Her new monograph, Mary and Padraic Colum: Lives and the Dream, will be published by UCD Press later in 2026. She was Cullman Center Fellow at the New York Public Library from 2022 to 2023, Parnell Fellow in Irish Studies at Magdalene College, Cambridge from 2023j to 2024, and is a member of the Royal Irish Academy.
