Opening Ceremony for Science and Medicine 2023

The Opening Ceremony is for new students to the University.

The Principal and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dame Sally Mapstone, and the Faculty Deans will welcome students and an inspirational presentation will be given by a member of the academic community.

All speakers will give a warm welcome and provide words of advice, motivation, and guidance. The ceremony includes an academic procession and musical performances.

The schedule for the event is as follows:

• 11am -- doors open
• 11.25am -- doors close
• 11.30am -- ceremony begins
• 12.30pm -- ceremony ends
