On the body An interdisciplinary conference on race and racism in medicine and the humanities

All are welcome to our free, catered, one-day interdisciplinary conference on race and racism in medicine and the humanities.

The day is about connecting the dots, teaching and learning, with insights and attendees welcome from medicine, literature, history, geography, and much more. The event is organised by St Andrews students, kindly funded by the Centre on the Dynamics of Ethnicity (CoDE) at the University of Manchester, and hosted by the University of Dundee in order to reach as many students as possible, as well as those from St Andrews.

  • 9.30am to 10am: Arrival and registration
  • 10am to 10.30am: Welcome session
