New Music Week: Routes String Quartet and friends - £5-12

The Routes Quartet write, arrange and improvise string quartet music influenced by Trad/Scandi/Jazz and Classical traditions. They create a unique sound-world by combining improvised soundscapes, exquisite tune-writing and emotive playing. They will be performing music from their most recent release, ‘Arche' which was recorded live in a bespoke studio set up, produced by Greg Lawson (Moishes Bagel, GRIT), Grammy Award-Winning Producer, David Donaldson and the band themselves. Joining them will be Music Centre scholarship string students and members of the University's Folk & Trad Society.
