Natural Capital and Land Assetisation A StACCS Workshop

Join us for a day-long workshop exploring land ownership, sustainability, and capital in Scotland and beyond.

Hosted by the St Andrews Centre for Critical Sustainabilities (StACCS) as part of their ‘Capital' cluster of research activities, this interdisciplinary workshop will bring together academics and practitioners to discuss the problems and promises of various forms of land ownership, including communal, public, and private models. We will explore their implications for ecological recovery and nature restoration, as well as the effects of the normative natural capital paradigm.

The programme features speakers from organisations including NatureScot, Future Economy Scotland, and Community Land Scotland, alongside colleagues from across disciplines at the University of St Andrews. Staff and PGR students are warmly welcome to attend. To find our more or RSVP, please email Dr Katharina Hunfeld: [email protected].
