National Day of Reflection Event
To mark the forthcoming first anniversary of lockdown restrictions across the UK on Tuesday 23 March 2020, the University will take part in the National Day of Reflection. The Chaplaincy invites you to this short event (15 minutes) livestreamed from St Salvator’s Chapel.
The occasion will include a few words from Principal and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sally Mapstone, and Chaplain, Revd Dr Donald MacEwan, with music and readings.
As part of the day, the University will mark the Marie Curie Moment of Reflection by lighting St Salvator’s Quad in yellow and observing a minute of silence from the University Chapel at noon.
After the event, we invite you to go outside (or just pop your head out of the window) for a few moments of reflection or prayer, remembering those who are no longer with us, and in collective hope for a brighter future.
