Meet our Conservation Cows

The University is working with Rewilding Kinkell to manage the Craig Hurtle SSSI using a family of Highland Cattle to graze down invasive plants and restore this rare coastal grassland just south of St Andrews.

As part of Sustainability Week you can meet the cows with farmer Rory Fife from Rewilding Kinkell and find out how the University is working with local landowners on conservation projects.

We will meet in front of Younger Hall on North Street and take a minibus out to Kinkell Byre for a 45-minute visit before returning to Younger Hall. There are two trips leaving at 12.45pm and 1.30pm.
