Lunchtime concert by Scottish Opera Emerging Artists - £5, FREE to Music Centre members

Scottish Opera's Emerging and Associate Artists programme gives early-career artists the opportunity of a lifetime — a period of full-time work with the Company to help them prepare for today's opera industry. Initially set up to nurture outstanding young singers, the programme has expanded to include creative training opportunities for repetiteurs, directors, associate producers, composers-in-residence, and costume trainees. All get experience in Scottish Opera's mainstage productions as well as small-scale tours. In the 2025/26 Season, nine artists — five singers, two repetiteurs, a costume trainee, and a casting officer — make up the Emerging Artists cohort. This 50-minute concert showcases the singers and repetiteurs in a varied programme of arias, duets, and ensemble pieces.
